Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Just a few minutes from the JR Hakodate station which was really convenient. Hakodate isn't terribly large compared to many other cities we visit so didn't take long to walk to most places we wanted to see. Room was very different to what we normally see with a stylish layout and lighting and a microwave in the kitchenette which was great.
Negative: The staff, whilst friendly, seemed fairly unorganised on a couple of occasions, and the breakfast option was very below standard compared to other hotels.
Summary: Interesting and enjoyable room in a good location but has some shortcomings.
